Kanata Saotome (早乙女カナタ Saotome Kanata) is a major character and serves as a maid character in Akiba's Beat. Kanata is a 16 year-old boy who works at the Eden of Violet bar in the Akihabara side-streets. Kanata portrays a cute and effeminate impression whilst using masculine pronouns in speech. In truth, being a boy dressed in maid clothing, as if he is cross-dressing but in fact does it for his job.
